Mark Rosenberg, MD

Functional Medicine

Mark Rosenberg, M.D. attended the Univ. of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate education and then Georgetown Univ. School of Medicine for his medical training. Dr. Rosenberg did his residency training in emergency medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center and was then the Assistant Chief of Emergency Medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Rosenberg served as consultant to Walter Reed for the management of drug toxicities and overdoses. He left the military in 1996 with the rank of Major. During his residency, Dr. Rosenberg was awarded resident and teacher of the year and continued to teach while at Walter Reed.

In 2004, Dr. Rosenberg diagnosed his mother with metastatic lung cancer. Dr. Rosenberg began researching drugs that could target cancer stem cells. He eventually started a pharmaceutical company, which merged with a spinout of Harvard. More recently, Dr. Rosenberg was awarded a patent for the development of an extracorporeal filter which captures and eliminates circulating tumor clusters.

Dr. Rosenberg has also been a board member and consultant to the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine for over 20 years. He currently practices internal medicine, longevity medicine, and integrative oncology.
